The Bicycle NSW Environmental Trust ABN 31 583 611 736 was established in 2003 purely for charitable purposes under a Deed of Trust (click here) which details the trust objects around conserving and protecting the natural environment through the promotion of bicycle riding as an environmentally beneficial means of transport. 

The trust and the associated public fund were entered into the Commonwealth Government Register of Environmental Organisations in May 2004 via a Certificate of Entry (Click here)

Inclusion in the Register of Environmental Organisations means that all donations are tax deductible under item 6.1.1 of subsection 30-55(1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act, 1997. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and an appropriate receipt will be issued.
